Relevant Coursework
This is my literature review written in HLTH 2400 that analyzed the factors that contribute to contraceptive use in female adolescents using two models- the Health Belief Model and the Theory of Planned Behavior, two theories that we studied in that class. This review took the
whole semester to complete, and I am extremely proud of how it came out. Not only did this paper help me to learn and practice writing a professional academic paper, but also helped to spark my interest in sexual health education and public health looking specifically at women and how society impacts their choices.
This was a project done in my Women in Global Perspective class. My group and I came up with a specific problem women face in a specific area of the world. Together, we created a project proposal that would provide women in Afghanistan vocational training to help them gain more economic freedom.
